Credit card debt!?

whats the best service to get rid of credit card debt. i am about 2,500 in debt and i am looking for some kind of service that can work it out to monthly payments. does anyone know of any good ones?

Only $2,500. That%26#039;s not bad at all. Keep in mind when you consolidate your credit cards into one monthly payment it will have a negative effect on your credit score. My advice is to call the credit card companies and see if you can lower the APR, to pay down that debt.

deliver pizzas....an extra $200/mo down on that debt and you will be done by Thanksgiving......work weekend mornings at McDonalds.....That is really a small amount of debt.....don%26#039;t look for someone or a company to make it go away....

Call and see if you can get a lower interest rate....but either way....get a second job and commit all that income and you will be done soo fast....

Consolidation does not really apply in this case.

Consolidation implies a credit source like a bank underwriting more than one loan in order to put them together into a lump some and working out a monthly re-payment schedule.

If you still have good credit, ask your bank to loan you the money to immediately pay out your credit card debt. If they are willing to do so, negotiate their most convenient (to you) payback terms.

Make sure you really pay off the credit card company. This should settle things nicely for you.

In the meantime, really, please, chop up your credit card until the bank loan is paid. Then, if you want, you can get a replacement card. Frankly, dealing with the banks is usually cheaper than the credit card companies.
